PillowScan™: custom fit in 30 seconds
PillowScan™ is our proprietary mobile scan technology. Without downloading an app, the user scans shoulders, neck and head with a smartphone in about 30 seconds. The scan is combined with sleeping position and mattress firmness and converted by our algorithm into a personal pillow code. The result: a pillow that is built around the body instead of a one-size-fits-all product.
PillowScan™ powers our own YOUP brand and can be integrated in the webshop, app or in-store journey of partner brands.
How a custom fit pillow is designed
Every custom fit concept starts with data. For professional fitting we use a measuring method based on three body measurements, developed with physiotherapists and validated in daily practice by more than 10.000 professionals. For the consumer at home we use a short test based on height, weight, sleeping position and mattress firmness. In both cases the outcome is a defined size or filling level, so the right pillow can be produced, stocked and delivered efficiently.
Our designers and engineers translate these data into shapes, heights and materials: premium European memory foam with an open cell structure, our proprietary Symbio® foam and washable, OEKO-TEX® certified covers. Every design is tested with our professional network before it goes into production.
